How launching on Hentity works

One board, 30 products a week, ranked by the community. These are the rules that keep it fair.

Who can launch

• Software, apps, APIs, AI tools, developer tools, hardware and infrastructure that people can use today.
• Built by African founders or teams, or with significant development in Africa.
• Not eligible: agencies, basic company sites, and concepts that aren’t live yet.

The week

• The board resets every Monday at 06:00 WAT and runs for 7 days.
• Booking opens 4 weeks ahead. If your week fills while you’re editing, we hold a spot in the next one.
• The top 3 become Products of the Week, with medals and badges for their sites.

Votes

• Ask for support and feedback, not upvotes. Coordinated voting is flagged, and those votes stop counting.
• Votes from new or flagged accounts count for less, so rank can differ from the raw count.
• Rankings can’t be bought. Sponsored spots are always labelled “Promoted”.

Reviews

A moderator checks that the product is real, working and has an African connection. Most reviews finish within 48 hours, and changes-requested resubmissions usually within 24.
